iPod Touch!

Got a new 32GB iPod Touch for $348.

Re-organized my playlists.

2+GB remaining.

The End.

I’m currently working on Edward’s band’s song arrangement. My hands are kinda tied due to the requirement for the arrangement to be playable by his acoustic band. The most I was allowed to do was to add violins.

The chords are VERY repetitive – D, Variation of D, G, Gm (throughout the song). Except for the 2nd last phrase, where it turns to B, Variation of B, G, Gm.

Anyway, people seems to dislike the song “Come To Me”. 3 of my friends failed/declined to help me finish up the lyric. 2 of them declined to do vocals for it. Maybe there’s a problem with the song. I’ll have to figure out what’s wrong with it.

Furthest I’ve ran, 12KM…SHAG!

iPod DYING!!

Stated in the title, yes, my iPod nano is dying… Heart ache. Served me well for many years.

  • Many dead pixels on screen (due to dropping)
  • Buttons not as responsive
  • Scroll not as responsive
  • Battery life can’t last 2+ hours

Time to get a new iPod, I guess.

Thinking of the iPod Classic, 160 GB. I can literally transfer my whole iTunes into it! Won’t have to worry about leaving out any lovely tunes behind! The screen may be small, not really ideal to watch a video, but nevertheless, it seems great for someone like me! Price would be $348…painful damage to the wallet.

Anyway, it’s time to get an iPod real soon!

Guard Duty on a Saturday. This whole week’s been a nights/stay out week. Shag!

Everyday’s A Brand New Day!

Finished recording the vocals and harmony with Tiffany and her friend Sophia.

They’re all wonderful singers! We recorded at Novena, Tiffany’s dance/singing music school. It was quite fun recording there. Only thing was we had to turn off the mini waterfall which is meant to bring luck to the music school, whenever we pressed the record button! But we still ended up with quite a good and clear vocal recording!

Sophia came to help us out with the harmonization of the Bridge of the song.

Sadly, the song is low for Tiffany’s voice. I did ask her if its too low, but there was no reply. If only I knew it earlier!! HAHA!! But everything’s still good!

Anyway, do catch Everyday’s A Brand New Day at the Songs/Arrangements page under Portfolio.

What’s the point of being good, when you have no opportunities to shine?

1st Of July.

Awaiting for Friday night to draw near as I’ll be recording the vocals for the BCF song with Tiffany. Lyrics are written by Eddy Sng. He is one amazing lyricist! Anyway, do catch Tiffany live on NDP parade. She’ll be singing! Though it’ll be in a large group, it’s still an awesome opportunity!

Besides that, been working with Eddy with a couple of lyrics. Eddy’s been improvising my song for improvements and I kinda caught his style of composition. Not quite like the way Si’er composes. Eddy still has certain melodic lines to his works. He’s able to improvise, but its up to a certain extend. Once it passes the  barrier, it becomes not as melodic as his initial start up. Or maybe he just has not grasp hold of the original melody line well enough to do an improvisation on it.

Eddy’s lyrical skills are pretty good. In fact, he’s fast. He is definitely better at Mandarin as compared to English. He himself told me that. Which I think is alright, as Eddy is targeting the Chinese Pop market.

Overall, it is fun working with Eddy!

Today is the SAF day and a half day is given!

Just finished watching Steins Gate (anime). Great and deep storyline. Worth the time. Can’t wait for the movie!
