Update on my life so far.

Been really busy for me these few months.

Don’t even have the time to update this blog.

But here’s a summary of the past 3-4 months:

  1. Started teaching Guitar and Ukulele.
  2. Got signed to a regional music publisher, Touch Music Publishing.
  3. Registration under processing for COMPASS.
  4. Worked on a musical for Distinct Creative Arts.
  5. Developing a mobile game with a friend (70% completion).
  6. Working on a game soundtrack for a mobile game project.
  7. Working on a wedding duet song for a friend’s wedding =).

So far, everything’s been going good. Just a couple of hiccups in the programming for the game.

Hopefully the game can be released by November 2015 or January 2016.

It’s been so long since I posted.

Many things happened during these 5 months.

1st, I won champion in the Impresario original composition competition.

Then I sent demos to an A&R personnel from Touch Music Publishing.

We met up, and he told me more stuff about the music industry.

He sent me a song request list by YG Ent, and I started writing for it.

Then a demo that I sent to Sony was put on Hold by a new China artiste.

The A&R from Touch told me he wants to discuss with me about my exclusive contract.

Then I went to Seoul, Korea, to pay a visit to a few music labels.

I went to Polaris, Woolim, Happy Face Ent, Big Hit Ent, B2M Ent, JYP and Fantagio.

Tried to locate Nega Network, but it seems like they keep moving.

When I came back to Singapore, I came into contact with an indie artiste from the UK, who just got signed to a small local publisher.

We will be working on a song which I just wrote and sent to her. No vocal recordings, only a vocal guide as I don’t have enough time to arrange a recording with Tiffany.

Overall, it’s been a hell of a ride for me within these few months.

I really do hope that everything goes as I planned.

But we all know, it always never goes as planned.

I can see improvements.

2014 has been a hell of a ride, both beautiful and painful.

Tomorrow will be the last day of 2014.

2014 ended beautifully.

It was a ride of both happiness and sadness.

Many beautiful things still happened despite the grieve I’ve had, but I’ll update it on the first day of 2015.

Looking forward to a new year, a new beginning, a new adventure, in 2015!

Got the best Christmas Gift on the 21st Dec.

2 awesome shirts, 3 comfy socks, 1 cool coaster  and packet of herbal candy and 1 beautifully hand-made christmas card.

The card was the best, really, the best.

I appreciate effort, and that effort was simply irresistible!
