Did another demo arrangement for Si’er, Fuel Foe.

Had my Standard Obstacle Course (SOC) time trial this week. Misplaced my green water bottle the night before, but Lance Corporal Teoh was super nice to lend me his! He’s a wonderful senior storeman too!

Met up with a friend of mine. Asked if I could help out with the music for their final year video project. Of course I agreed! How can I say no to music?

Feel small and inferior…

Yesterday I went for an event my friend invited me to. Guess who I saw there?

1. Martin Tang (Sun Yan Zhi’s Producer)
2. JJ Lin’s Lyricist (the friend that invited me, Si’er)
3. Elim Chew (Founder of 77th Street)
4. 插班生
5. Several debuting artistes
6. Several session instrumentalists for international superstars

My goodness…and I even went there underdress! Didn’t know that event was held in a hotel and I went there with 3/4 pants, slippers and shirt. -.-

The atmosphere there was nice, but someone like me going there is a “No Go” kind of thing! Even though everyone was friendly, but its the kind of natural reaction or feeling to watch your actions, words and discipline, when people of that status are there!

Anyway, did up some music, Far Away. It’s still under progress but I gotta work on another arrangement first.

6 more months…

No music post for this week, or maybe the following week too!

Tomorrow marks the start of my SCS training.. More tekan (punishment), more physical training (10km run), more tactical training, overseas training (Taiwan, Brunei..) etc…

One word : Die (kidding…but the training’s really tough!)

But oh well…all these to get 3 down arrows (and a couple of other “achievements” along the way).

Pray hard, I am in God’s hands right now.

Finished another arrangement & received posting…

Finished another arrangement, A Better Country, for Si’er. This time round, it’s acceptable, but can be further improved. But that’s not the main highlight of this post…it’s my posting!

Got posted to SCS & SWAS, as seen in the picture above. Round 2 of “recruit” training/life, but this time round, it’s 6 long months! Aside from the fact that getting a sergeant rank is good, it comes with a price to pay. And that price is the TRAINING!!

Expect tough training, outfields, etc…many more!

Super budget vocal recording!

Did a very budget vocal recording for the song, Love Just Don’t Come Easy To Me, with my senior, Tiffany Kwa, this morning. Everything went smoothly (partly because she’s good and everything was on a budget…) So this is the schedule this morning:

9am in the morning.

Proceeded to do vocal recording with Tiffany.

Place mic and laptop on chairs.

Finished at approximately 9:30am.

Chit chat because it ended sooner than expected.

Left for home at about 9:50am.

Lyrics are written by me, but has no relation to me.
