Finished BCF arrangements!

My Ukelele

Bought my Ukelele and used it for an arrangement right after getting it! Sounds pretty decent in the recording. Quite the sound that I was looking for. But maybe it’s just my ears…maybe I’m not used to the Ukelele, that’s why it sounds pretty good. Used it for the BCF Competition. Hopefully it’ll turn out good! I really wanna do my best and win this!

Will be meeting Andy and his brother tomorrow morning for breakfast. Gonna be discussing about music and perhaps some music projects! Really hope I can work with Andy and his brother and if possible, whatever artiste his brother is working with (even though I don’t know the artiste name…)!

After meeting Andy, it’ll be a trip down to Bugis to catch a movie with 2 friends. Followed by another meeting with Alex. Another project meeting and dinner. Not sure what I’ll be discussing with Alex about, but it should be interesting!

Really looking forward to this Saturday.

Kinda liked the haze here, makes us appreciate little things like the fresh air we used to have.

Andy just WhatsApp me this morning regarding a music project he might be taking. Got the chance to arrange the music for him and his brother! Hopefully I don’t screw up like previously… Heard that his brother’s style is R&B. Hopefully I can pull this off!

Recently just finished a piece for the Evolve project, hopefully the pitching for project goes well. Really happy with the results for the piece, Breaking Out.

Alex called me up recently. Talked to me about a music video project he has. Apparently, the guy writing the music to it decided to shorten the music (Alex suspected that the writer became bored of the music). Seems like the composer kinda dropped out of the project. Alex’s group doesn’t like to stop halfway during a project. They’re the type that will stick through and put in 100% effort.

So I guess I’ll be taking over as the composer! Had a general idea of how the music video will be like. Normally, its the MV that follows the song. This time, it’ll be the song following the MV! It’s like writing for visuals, not gonna be easy, but it’ll be worth a try! It’s gonna be interesting if everything works out fine.

Oh yeah! Back to my normal self where there’s a shit load of works lined up! Actually it’s only 2 projects.

Si’er dropped me a message just yesterday, asking if I’m free to do another arrangement for him. WHY NOT! Really eager to start arranging for him again.

Anyway, still writing the two 2 mins demo for review.
